**Job Summary**

The Capital District YMCA is seeking a Part-Time Housekeeper to support our Men's Residence Program in Schenectady. As a member of our facilities team, you will provide essential services to our residents, ensuring a clean and safe living environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide cleaning and sanitizing services to assigned areas, including mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
  • Assist residents with daily tasks and provide support as needed.
  • Report and record maintenance requests to ensure prompt attention.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and maintain a basic understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals.

**Requirements:**

  • One year of prior experience in custodial or cleaning work preferred.
  • Excellent human relations skills and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
  • Basic understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment.

**Working Hours:** Monday - Friday, 10am-3pm
