The Role: Production Operative with Forklift Expertise

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile individual to join our client's team as a Production Operative with Forklift Expertise. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience across various aspects of the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts proficiently in a manufacturing and warehouse environment, ensuring safe and efficient material handling.
  • Unload raw materials from delivery trucks and transport them to designated storage areas within the facility.
  • Load finished products onto box trucks and large freight trailers for distribution.
  • Maintain rigorous quality control standards by inspecting both incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products.
  • Contribute to a safe and organized work environment by adhering to company protocols and maintaining cleanliness within the warehouse.

Additional Duties:

  • Provide support to the Production Manager in executing daily operational tasks.
  • Assist various manufacturing areas as needed, demonstrating adaptability and willingness to learn new processes.
  • Develop proficiency in filling CO2 tanks and understanding all aspects of the production process.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to quality standards.
