Job Summary

As a Night Auditor with Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dothan - RAM Hotels, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless guest experience during the overnight hours. This includes checking in and checking out guests, providing exceptional customer service, and resolving any issues that may arise. You will also be responsible for completing overnight audits, preparing the lobby and breakfast area, and performing other tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a concierge to guests, providing recommendations and assistance as needed.
  • Review guest reservation status and identify opportunities to upsell and promote additional services.
  • Accommodate guests with registration, assign hotel rooms, and assist with special requests.
  • Verify guest payment methods and follow established credit-check procedures.
  • Input guest information into the PMS system and communicate with hotel personnel as needed.
  • Work closely with the housekeeping department to ensure room status reports are up to date.
  • Perform overnight audits and prepare the lobby and breakfast area for the morning shift.

Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent and one year of work-related experience.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Data entry and database management experience.
  • Telephone etiquette experience.
  • Understanding of the hospitality industry and previous experience in the industry preferred.

  • Ability to effectively manage and resolve disruptive circumstances.
  • Engage guests in conversation and recognize their preferences.
  • Promote the property by demonstrating a "top-notch" attitude toward guests.
  • Ensure a positive representation of the property and respect diversity and multi-cultural environments.
