Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures, including mammography exams, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mammography exams and other imaging procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases.
  • Work independently to position patients, operate imaging equipment, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Meet the guidelines associated with initial mammography training and maintain modality-specific continuing education credits.
  • ARRT Registration in mammography preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Minimum of one year previous experience in a clinical setting.
