Job Summary

As a Radiology Technologist PRN at Corewell Health, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of radiology. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where you will have the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology, ensuring high-quality images for interpretation.
  • Acquire an accurate patient history and document in the medical record, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Monitor patients during procedures to ensure patient safety, providing a calm and reassuring environment.
  • Effectively communicate with customers, administrative staff, medical staff, and peers, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Utilize ALARA standards for minimizing radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program.
  • Current CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
