The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a highly skilled Research Nurse to join our team in the Health Studies Research Center (HSRC). As a key member of our research team, you will play a critical role in supporting clinical research projects, coordinating projects and drug trials, and ensuring regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate research projects, including recruitment, screening, clinical measures, safety monitoring, data management, and outcomes investigation.
- Perform telephone and in-person eligibility, screening, schedule study visits, conduct clinical measurements, and process and ship biological samples.
- Conduct and interpret ECG and other clinical tests according to protocol, administer physical performance and cognitive function tests, and assist participants in completing study-related questionnaires.
- Train, certify, and supervise study staff on study protocol.
- Address study alerts, adverse events, and incidental findings per protocol.
- Advanced degree and 3+ years of research experience preferred.
- Equivalent relevant work experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
