Nurse Manager

VNA Health Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Assistant Clinical Manager, Hospice. This position is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality hospice services, ensuring alignment with patient needs and program requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Mission Alignment: Demonstrate commitment to the organization's mission by striving for excellence in all job aspects and fostering positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues.
- Resource Support: Act as a resource for field staff, offering guidance and assistance as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise clinical and support staff, conducting performance evaluations, monitoring productivity, and facilitating ongoing professional development.
- Workforce Coordination: Manage daily workforce needs, including case assignments, staffing levels, and approval of overtime or time off requests.
- Performance Management: Take appropriate corrective action to address any issues impacting team clinical or financial outcomes.
- Staff Development: Collaborate with Quality and Staff Development staff to assess training needs, develop education programs, and ensure staff are equipped to provide high-quality care.
- RN with BSN; oncology/hospice and palliative care certification preferred.
- 2-3 years experience with community health oncology/hospice nursing preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
