Evening Custodian

Job Summary:

The Custodial position at ABM provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented and able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain buildings and facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for occupants.
• Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs, including minor or major issues with building operating systems.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, colleagues, and management.
• Be flexible and willing to complete all assigned tasks, including those outside of regular duties.

Essential Functions:

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Clean and vacuum carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment.
• Gather and empty trash, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment.
• Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Keep the janitor's closet neat and orderly, and maintain equipment in good working order.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Pass a 7-year background check and drug screen, including marijuana.
