Infant Care Assistant Salary: Competitive hourly rate

Infant Care Assistant Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am - 2pm (Part-Time)

Infant Care Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Creating and maintaining a safe and nurturing atmosphere that promotes the physical, emotional, and intellectual development of children in the program.
  • Facilitating age-appropriate activities.
  • Adhering to state and YMCA guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of the children.
  • Establishing strong connections with parents.

Infant Care Assistant Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children, which can include professional, volunteer, or familial experience (such as babysitting).
  • High school diploma required; college credits in Early Childhood Education or a related field are preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Willingness to be trained in First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training provided).
