Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled HHR Technician to join our team at Colonial Downs Group LLC. As an HHR Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing gaming machines, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide next-level guest service to internal and external guests, demonstrating our company culture in all interactions.
  • Foster an environment of support and motivation for Team Members.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality of all company information at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with approved procedures for the HHR areas in a professional manner.
  • Repair and modify components, electric systems, and peripherals of gaming machines and kiosks.
  • Configure HHR machines to meet manufacturers' and regulatory agency specifications.
  • Remove, move, install, and/or upgrade HHR machines.
  • Maintain an inventory of parts for the HHR machines.
  • Monitor and track the HHR machine malfunctions, the cause, the repair, and the parts involved.
  • Track and record all test money usage and testing results.
  • Protect company assets by adhering to company policies and all state and regulatory compliance.
  • Notify shift supervisor of irregularities in customers' play.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, performing all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Effectively handle customer concerns and requests.
  • Act in the capacity of other positions on an as-needed basis.
  • Resolve problems that are within the position's scope of authority and recommend courses of action to resolve problems that are beyond the scope of authority to the position's supervisor.
  • Keep position supervisor informed of relevant activities.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED certificate required; Associates degree in electronics or related field preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience as an HHR Technician/Bench Technician with A+ Certification preferred.
  • Excellent PC skills and a working knowledge of word processors and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work in an environment exposed to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels, and varied light levels, including flashing lights.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Virginia Racing Commission License.
