This upscale dining establishment is on the lookout for outstanding and highly skilled individuals for the role of MAITRE D'. Candidates should possess a deep understanding of culinary offerings, beverage selections, and exemplary service standards to deliver an unforgettable experience for patrons. As a primary point of interaction with guests, successful candidates must demonstrate enthusiasm, a genuine passion for hospitality, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the dining room operations within a restaurant setting.
  • Foster customer relations and ensure that guests receive exceptional service consistently.
  • Welcome guests and escort them to their designated tables.
  • Address inquiries from customers regarding menu items, beverages, and daily specials.
  • Handle customer complaints or conflicts effectively.
  • Supervise waitstaff to guarantee efficient and high-quality service during each seating.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in high-volume and fine dining establishments.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading a front-of-house team in a New York-based restaurant.
  • Experience in Michelin-starred or highly-rated establishments is preferred but not mandatory.
