We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Travel Nurse. As a PCU Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs as needed.
- Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
- Initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.
- Current RN licensure in the United States
- 1-2 years of recent acute care experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
