Kenmore, Washington, United States Amazon Web Services, Inc. Full time

Job Overview:
| Amazon Web Services, Inc.
Are you a customer-focused innovator with a strong desire to assist clients in realizing their maximum potential? Do you possess the business acumen, CloudOps expertise, and sales capabilities essential for positioning AWS as the preferred cloud provider for clients? Are you passionate about developing new strategic and data-driven initiatives? Join the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Cloud Governance team as a Business Development Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and implementation for Cloud Governance on a global scale, collaborating with field teams including Sales, Partners, Marketing, and other Specialists.
- Utilize your knowledge in Cloud Governance to identify the most pressing customer challenges in your region and empower account-aligned teams to address them.
- Lead cross-functional projects to broaden markets/accounts, create scalable programs to enhance adoption, and uncover new opportunities within your area of expertise.
- Establish and implement objectives to promote long-term growth in your region while achieving or surpassing revenue and non-revenue KPIs.
- Gather customer insights and market signals to relay back to Worldwide teams, ensuring we prioritize the development of the right features and services for our clients.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews and operational planning documents for your specific technology domain and region.
- Drive geographical expansion through external partnerships; collaborate with cross-functional teams across Solution Architecture, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, and Training to execute customer acquisition strategies.

A Day in the Life:
This role will help shape the GTM strategy for AWS Cloud Governance. We create sales initiatives, leverage partnerships, and develop new programs that deliver results for our clients.

We provide essential feedback from customers to guide our product roadmap and work closely with our partner network to build an ecosystem that supports our clients' objectives.

In emerging sectors, we play a pivotal role as the initial teams to cultivate markets for new services, domains, or solutions.

When a client seeks innovation and requires a novel approach to utilizing AWS, they rely on us to innovate alongside them.
About the Team:
Team Principles:
- We are the domain experts in Cloud Governance and do not go to market with individual services.
- We formulate and test hypotheses and are open to being proven incorrect.
- We explore to create space for simplifying complexities.

- We continuously collect and analyze data as it evolves, helping us keep pace with dynamic customer needs and enabling us to prioritize effectively.
- We utilize existing and develop new mechanisms to support clients at the speed of their business.
- We have a proactive approach because sharing and learning through iteration leads to improved outcomes more swiftly.
- We collaborate with other teams to design and implement cross-service, global programs.
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
- Proven experience in crafting strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, establishing processes, and coordinating release schedules.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in interpreting data and making informed business recommendations.
- Experience in identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
