We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Behavioral Support Specialist. This role will play a critical part in supporting the academic and personal growth of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with students and teachers to deliver individualized services and supports, promoting academic success and social-emotional growth.
- Monitor student behavior, track educational progress, and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
- Assist teachers with lesson planning, implementation, and assessment, ensuring a seamless learning experience for students.
- Implement behavior management strategies, including de-escalation techniques and crisis management, to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Document student progress and growth towards academic, social, and emotional goals.
- Supervise students during transitions and ensure their safety at all times.
- High School Diploma required; College experience and/or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Experience working with youth, preferably in an educational setting.
