Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Quail Park. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Residents with Daily Living Activities
    • Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and ambulation
    • Assist with activities of daily living, as specified in residents' individual service plans
  • Provide Personal Care Assistance
    • Engage residents in meaningful conversation and socialization
    • Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, and social condition
    • Report promptly to a licensed nurse and/or supervisor
  • Support Resident Care Team
    • Complete all forms, including incident reports and written and computerized documentation
    • Assist with resident meal times in the dining room
    • Ensure food is presented in an attractive manner
  • Maintain Resident Environment
    • Make resident beds, empty apartment trash, and tidy resident apartment daily
    • Turn down resident beds in the evening
    • Change resident linens and towels according to community laundry schedule
Requirements
  • Previous Experience
    • Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting preferred
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Ability to take blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature, and O2 Sat or ability to learn
    • Must maintain current CPR/First Aid credentials
    • Must maintain current Food Handlers credentials
    • Must maintain annual Continuing Education Credits
    • Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members, and team members
    • Must be able to read, comprehend, write, and speak English to communicate effectively
    • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Word and Excel
