Banquet Server (Culinary and Food Services Attendant I) Job Summary

The University of Arizona is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Catering team as Banquet Servers (Culinary and Food Services Attendants I). As a Banquet Server, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our events by providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up banquet rooms and events as instructed and assist with the set-up, service, and clean-up of all assigned banquet functions.
  • Serve food and/or beverages listed on the Banquet Event Order to the standards of the department and expectations of the client.
  • Ensure proper presentation and service of food and beverages.
  • Work to ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and ability to drive according to the University's policies.
  • Must be able to occasionally transport/move a minimum of 40 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in similar position within an upscale environment.
  • At least two years of experience in banquet operations.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate of $14.50.
  • Full-time position with 40 hours worked per week.
