Salary: $15 - $20 per hour
Role Responsibilities- Coordinate the scheduling of surgical procedures, diagnostic evaluations, and pre-operative/post-operative appointments.
- Confirm insurance coverage and communicate insurance details with patients.
- Collect patient co-payments and applicable deductibles prior to procedures.
- Ensure all necessary patient documentation is completed and filed post-surgery.
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role, such as Surgery Scheduler or Insurance Verification Specialist, is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities, are essential.
- Upon transitioning to full-time employment, candidates may apply for a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401K plan.
