Behavioral Intervention Technician

We are in search of a dedicated and empathetic Behavioral Intervention Technician (RBT) who is certified to operate within the state of North Carolina. The preferred candidate will possess a minimum of three years of general experience or at least one year of experience in assisting K-12 students. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to execute behavior intervention strategies, gather data, and deliver direct assistance to students in educational environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute behavior intervention strategies under the guidance of a BCBA.
  • Provide individualized support to students facing behavioral challenges in various educational contexts.
  • Gather and document data on student behavior and their progress towards established goals.
  • Assist in creating materials and resources for behavior intervention initiatives.
  • Maintain regular communication with BCBA and other team members to review student progress and any necessary adjustments to intervention strategies.
  • Adhere to all ethical and professional standards set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and relevant state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
  • Authorization to practice as an RBT in North Carolina.
  • At least three years of general experience or a minimum of one year working with K-12 students.
  • Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
