Pediatric Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Registered Nurse to join our team at Phelps Health. As a Pediatric RN, you will provide direct patient care to infants, children, and adolescents, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

• Provide high-quality patient care, including administration of medications, nursing interventions, and patient and family teaching.
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to monitor patient status, improve quality, and enhance patient safety.
• Document all patient care activities and required quality monitoring items to comply with established quality measures and support clinical decision making.
• Communicate patient information to physicians and appropriate team members to improve patient outcomes.
• Delegate as appropriate while maintaining an atmosphere fostering teamwork and accountability.
• Communicate with patients and family members in a timely manner to enhance the patient experience and provide education to support health care outcomes.

• Current RN license in the State of Missouri or Compact Licensure.
• One year experience preferred.
• Graduate nurses (GNs) must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
