Agricultural Equipment Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Equipment Service Technician to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Basic Diagnostics and Repairs: Conduct thorough inspections and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment, as well as established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products.
  • Participate in Service Training Programs: Engage in Service EDUCATE Training programs to develop skills and knowledge in areas such as mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Maintain Equipment and Work Area: Ensure the condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment is maintained, and work areas are kept clean and organized.
  • Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety rules and regulations when performing work assignments.
  • Complete Reports and Forms: Accurately complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
  • Account for Time and Materials: Accurately account for all time spent on tasks and materials used in performing assigned duties.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience performing service repairs.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment.
  • Communication Skills: Proficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Certifications: Basic Service Technician certification preferred.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
