Job Overview

Position: Residential Program Manager

Reports to: Director of Residential Services

Hours: Full-time: Monday-Friday/Salaried/Exempt

Location: Green Street

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees, directs, and coordinates program activities and staff to achieve program goals within set timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Conducts meetings to screen and interview potential referrals for support.
  • Ensures adequate staff coverage for all shifts with qualified personnel, providing direct care as necessary.
  • Requests clinical assistance as required by program needs.
  • Facilitates monthly supervision sessions with staff.
  • Collaborates with program staff to offer guidance, support, and problem resolution.
  • Maintains regular communication with DDS, family advocates, and local service providers, documenting all interactions.
  • Ensures case files are organized and maintained by case managers, with all necessary documentation completed.
  • Provides primary on-call support for programs on a rotating schedule.
  • Ensures medication management complies with DPH/DDS guidelines.
  • Orders, tracks, and stores medication in accordance with regulations.
  • Maintains a safe, healthy, and clean living environment, ensuring compliance with all required inspections.
  • Appoints a site Human Rights Officer and assigns staff to conduct regular house and human rights meetings.
  • Assists in the development of new programs.
  • Ensures consistent implementation of Individual Support Plans and Behavioral Support Plans.
  • Schedules and leads monthly staff meetings and participates in Program Managers Meetings.
  • Reviews and approves Individual Support Plan Assessments, Support Strategies, and Progress Notes before distribution.
  • Monitors program staff to ensure they maintain necessary certifications and training.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Completes all tasks as assigned.
  • Supervises five to ten residential staff, ensuring compliance with Triangle's policies and applicable laws. Responsible for planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing complaints, and resolving issues. Conducts performance evaluations and participates in hiring and termination processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience; supervisory and administrative experience preferred.
  • Certification in Medication Administration, CPR, First Aid, and Human Rights Officer training. On-the-job training may be available.
  • Valid MA Driver's License.

Language Proficiency:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various documents. Capable of responding to inquiries from regulatory agencies or family members.
