Rescar Companies is seeking a skilled Railcar Mechanic to join our team in Borger, Texas. As a Railcar Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining railcar equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

• Inspect and Repair Railcar Equipment
  • Inspect railcar components, including truck assemblies, safety appliances, brake systems, wheels, and draft systems
  • Diagnose and identify malfunctions
  • Repair or replace defective or worn components
• Test and Operate Railcar Systems
  • Test engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
  • Ensure proper operation of railcar equipment
• Maintain a Safe and Clean Work Environment
  • Clean units and components
  • Ensure a safe working environment

• Experience and Skills
  • Previous mechanic experience desired
  • Familiarity with hand tools and welding
