As a Senior Cartographer, you'll be part of our National Security Sector, which combines technology-enabled services and mission software capabilities to address evolving threats worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for geographic information systems and a knack for turning complex information into compelling visual stories. This role involves working closely with analysts to understand their requirements and using your cartography skills to enhance and convey analytic thoughts and assessments.

The Senior Cartographer will utilize technology to design maps, graphics, illustrations, and layouts for Finished Intelligence (FINTEL) production. Key responsibilities include analyzing and evaluating cartographic information, researching and selecting map source data, and providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior cartographers.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph. Additionally, you'll require a minimum of 12 years of experience related to cartography, with at least a portion of the experience within the last two years.

We're looking for a skilled Cartographer with demonstrated proficiency in professional cartography tools, including ArcGIS Maps, Maya, ArcGIS CityEngine, ArcGIS Pro, ERDAS, RemoteView, ArcGIS Pro, ENVI, SOCET GXP, and ArcMap. Experience with DoD and IC imagery assets, as well as knowledge of IC and DoD classification guidelines and procedures, is also essential.

As a Senior Cartographer, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including producing timely, logical, and concise cartographic products, communicating complex issues clearly, and recognizing nuances and resolving contradictions and inconsistencies in information.

Key Requirements:

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Master's degree in an area related to cartography
  • Experience with the intelligence production cycle, executive intelligence production, graphic design, web development, and data science
