Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with full-stack experience to support our development function. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, experience working with AWS environments, and excellent problem-solving skills.

The Senior Developer will be responsible for leading the development of high-performance and scalable web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and optimizing and maintaining existing codebases. The role will also involve staying current with industry trends and best practices to ensure adoption of the latest technologies and methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of high-performance and scalable web applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
  • Optimize and maintain existing codebase for maximum efficiency
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure adoption of the latest technologies and methods
Requirements
  • 5+ years of well-rounded experience in software development within AWS environments
  • Proven expertise in building and maintaining large-scale web applications
  • Experience transitioning from legacy systems to new technology is a plus
  • Experience working on a small team in an early stage company or similar high growth environment is a plus
  • Experience with PHP, and/or frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
  • Experience with Ruby-On-Rails, Passenger, shell scripting and cron processes
  • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Familiarity with database design and optimization (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
