Join Our Team as a Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services, working closely with our surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgical teams during operative procedures, arranging and inventorying sterile set-ups, and passing instruments to surgeons and nurses as needed.
  • Prepare and move patients, sterilize and clean instruments, equipment, and rooms.
  • Work under the supervision of the surgeon and RN, maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment.
  • Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain accurate records, including patient information, surgical procedures, and inventory management.

Requirements:

  • Basic computer skills required.
  • One year of experience in a surgical setting preferred.
  • Experience in a specialty field preferred.
  • HS Diploma/GED required.
  • Completion of an approved Surgical Technician program required.
  • BLS from the American Heart Association required.
  • Current registration with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) as a surgical technologist for associates working in Colorado.
