Job Summary

VieMed is seeking an experienced Office Supervisor to oversee the PAP Resupply Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Department Management: Oversee the PAP Resupply Department, ensuring that operations are conducted in a manner consistent with company protocol and regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate and manage operations to maximize patient care, referral satisfaction, and cash generation.
  • Staff Management: Conduct routine staff meetings to review performance, monitor, and improve department initiatives.
  • Staffing and Training: Determine the optimal staffing structure and process flow to maximize team performance. Develop and refine training materials to ensure team members are improving and new team members receive adequate orientation and training.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with resupply software and operations vendors.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Stay current on insurance requirements, reimbursement, and legislative issues that may affect the team. Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and requirements.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports to provide progress updates on a regular basis.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with other departments, including Viemed Intake, Billing, Collections, Respiratory Therapists, and Compliance departments.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-3 years of supervisory experience and 1-3 years of DME experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, relationship building skills, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
