The Utility Person/Dishwasher plays a vital role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for guests and colleagues. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing clean, sparkling silverware and dishes to guests
  • Cleaning the inside and outside of the restaurant, including the parking lot
  • Checking, cleaning, and stocking restrooms
  • Emptying trash and maintaining a clean dumpster and back dock area
  • Thoroughly cleaning and organizing the utility area
  • Performing duty roster and ensuring cleanliness, services, and quality standards are met
  • Following local health department laws
Operational Excellence

The Utility Person/Dishwasher is responsible for:

  • Stocking cook, line, and server areas with necessary items
  • Maintaining excellent organization, speed, and cleanliness
  • Bringing equipment and facility problems to the attention of the manager
Guest Service

The Utility Person/Dishwasher is expected to:

  • Know and follow position responsibilities related to just-in-time delivery
