Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CDL Yard Supervisor to oversee all Container Yard activities for Hyundai Glovis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing transportation activities to and from customer delivery points, ensuring 100% on-time delivery to the assembly line.

This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to supervise yard workers and ensure compliance with all safety procedures, including CTPAT requirements.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a supervisory role in a trailer/container storage yard and excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise yard workers and ensure all team members comply with safety procedures
  • Monitor all inbound and outbound shipments, including return items from customers
  • Coordinate with logistics team to maintain smooth flow of goods in and out of the facility
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of all goods stored in the yard
  • Provide training to new hires and coaching to existing employees as needed
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or College degree preferred
  • CDL Certified Required
  • Prior experience in a supervisory role in a trailer/container storage yard
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
