Job Opportunity at Twelve Tone Music School

Job Summary:

We are seeking a charismatic and energetic Music Educator to join our team at Twelve Tone Music School. As a Part-Time Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching private and group lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach guitar, drums, and piano lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to individual students' needs and goals
  • Work collaboratively with the Program Director to create and adapt curriculum to ensure student success and motivation
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Participate in student showcases and events throughout the year
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Strong background in music, with formal training and/or higher degree in music, education, or performing arts
  • Ability to play and teach guitar, drums, and/or piano
  • Experience teaching private and group classes
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Pass a background check
