About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at The Home for Little Wanderers. As a Wellness Coordinator, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive care to children in our Dorchester location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to promote healthy development and well-being.
  • Participate in weekly treatment team reviews and quarterly Family Team Meetings to ensure effective communication and care planning.
  • Develop and implement in-service training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current NBCOT registration and licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Massachusetts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
