We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitting Associate to join our team at Parts Town Canada. As a key member of our distribution center team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient packaging and relocation of parts and accessories.
Key Responsibilities- Kitting parts and accessories with other parts and relocating them to designated areas for inventory purposes.
- Identifying the correct packaging material for parts that need to be kitted.
- Operating various machinery, including heat tunnels, strapping machines, foam machines, and bubble machines, to ensure proper packaging.
- Prioritizing work to meet deadlines for customer orders and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Gathering necessary parts and labeling completed packages.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision or as a team player.
- Adaptability and ability to thrive in a quickly changing environment.
- Ability to move around for long periods and lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (verbal and written).
