Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

The role involves the installation of commercial cabinetry and millwork at various sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and established standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Executing cabinetry and millwork installations in line with established guidelines while prioritizing safety and professionalism.
  • Conducting thorough tests on installed cabinetry and millwork to confirm proper functionality before leaving the installation site.
  • Completing all required documentation accurately, including work orders and service logs.
  • Managing inventory of assigned tools and materials to maintain sufficient stock levels and participating in inventory assessments.
  • Safeguarding all company property and ensuring that tools are kept in safe working condition.
  • Operating company vehicles safely.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company standards, ensuring respectful interactions with clients.
  • Cleaning work areas thoroughly at the conclusion of each project or workday.
  • Assisting in loading and unloading materials and tools at job sites, as well as preparing items for installation.
  • Performing additional tasks as directed by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in millwork installation, with proven skills in commercial cabinetry.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
  • In-depth knowledge of finish carpentry tools, materials, and techniques, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Basic mathematical skills and proficiency in using a tape measure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities with a positive attitude.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Understanding and adherence to safety protocols and requirements.
  • Physical capability to perform the necessary labor for the role.
  • Professional appearance and conduct.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to inquiries.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record for insurance purposes.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

The physical requirements for this position include:
