Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and assist them in getting situated in the appropriate treatment room
- Assist the doctor in providing care to patients
- Stay up-to-date on existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience
- Monitor lab materials and supplies
- Develop a relationship with patients and provide exceptional customer service
- Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines
- Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed
- Take, expose, and mount high-quality dental radiographs
- Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team members
Qualifications:
- Experience working as a Dental Assistant
- High school diploma or GED
- Other certifications as required by the state, such as Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with dental software, such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar dental software, is preferred
