Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and assist them in getting situated in the appropriate treatment room
  • Assist the doctor in providing care to patients
  • Stay up-to-date on existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience
  • Monitor lab materials and supplies
  • Develop a relationship with patients and provide exceptional customer service
  • Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines
  • Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed
  • Take, expose, and mount high-quality dental radiographs
  • Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team members

Qualifications:

  • Experience working as a Dental Assistant
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Other certifications as required by the state, such as Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with dental software, such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar dental software, is preferred
