Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team of skilled home healthcare providers. As a Speech Therapist, you will provide quality care to our patients in their homes, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement Speech Therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians and revise as necessary.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of interdisciplinary client care plans as it pertains to Speech Therapy.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members and instruct them in speech pathology techniques as needed.
  • Teach, supervise, and counsel clients and their families in the total Speech Therapy program and related problems.
  • Record evaluation data, treatments, and client responses to therapeutic intervention in a timely manner.
  • Supervise Home Health Aides every 14 days when Speech Therapy is the only professional discipline involved in client care.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of speech pathology intervention and update client care plans as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy program or equivalent education.
  • Display good emotional health and be able to physically tolerate standing, stooping, and bending.
  • Be self-directed and able to work with little supervision.
  • Have good observational, judgment, and communication skills.
