Job Summary

Conti Federal Services is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our civil and structural construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project quality requirements, including daily quality control reporting, subcontractor management, and submittal management.
  • Conduct quality phase meetings and frequent field quality control inspections to prevent contract non-conformance.
  • Develop and implement continuous process improvement initiatives throughout the project and company.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to ensure timely submission of daily reports and coordinate with the project team to ensure meetings are thorough and conducted in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the assembly of Sampling and Analysis Plan (SAP) documents and ensure compliance for each phase from initial schedule to final printing and distribution.
  • Comply with safety procedures/policies and address and/or elevate non-compliance among all employees, subcontractors, and vendors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management with a minimum of 5 years construction experience on construction similar to this project.
  • Current USACE Construction Quality Control for Contractors certification.
  • Five or more years of relevant construction industry experience, with federal construction experience preferred.
  • Proficient in the Three Phases of Control Quality Management System utilized by USACE and other Federal Government Agencies.
  • Training in and experience with the USACE Resident Management System (RMS) 3.0.
  • Experience with submittal management and ability to read and understand contract drawings and specifications.
  • Strong verbal and written skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, etc.).
  • American Concrete Institute (ACI) Certifications preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of the jobsite in all types of weather.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
