Position Summary:

We are in search of skilled and driven Fire Alarm Systems Technicians to enhance our operations in Northern Colorado. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, customer-focused professional with excellent communication abilities and a solid understanding of Fire & Life Safety Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all tasks in accordance with NFPA 72 and company standards, ensuring thorough quality inspections.
  • Efficiently execute installation and programming projects while promptly addressing any issues with the alarm projects administration team.
  • Collaborate with a team of fire alarm specialists to troubleshoot, innovate, and learn in a dynamic environment.
  • Independently manage tasks as needed to complete assignments within designated timeframes.
  • Utilize company software to track job completion and daily activities.
  • Adhere to company safety protocols to guarantee the well-being of oneself and colleagues at all times.
  • Coordinate with the Alarm Tenant Finish Manager, Field Supervisors, Scheduling Coordinator, and administrative staff to ensure a smooth workflow from scheduling to invoicing.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and ensure accurate documentation is completed.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Low Voltage installation (mandatory).
  • 1-3 years of experience in Fire Alarm service and/or Fire Alarm installation & programming (preferred).
  • Familiarity with NFPA 70, 72, and related regulations.
  • Fire alarm licensing is preferred, or the ability to obtain it within the first six months of employment.
  • NICET Alarm Systems 1 & 2 Certification(s) (preferred).
  • Proficient in using mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.) for completing and submitting inspection reports.
  • Ability to convey information and address inquiries from managers, clients, and authorities in a professional and educational manner.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in testing and inspecting fire alarm systems.
  • Background in fire sprinkler systems in any capacity.
  • Possession of a current Denver Journeyman's License.
  • Passion for personal and professional growth, new technologies, and process improvement.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
