Rehabilitation Technician Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in treatment procedures as instructed
  • Transport patients to and from the rehabilitation area
  • Prepare patients for therapeutic sessions
  • Adjust patient equipment as necessary
  • Document patient responses to treatments
  • Complete necessary documentation and data entry tasks
  • Comply with HIPAA regulations and safety protocols
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the rehabilitation space and equipment
  • Engage in training sessions and departmental meetings
  • Foster a customer service-oriented environment

Qualifications:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant or currently enrolled in a therapy program
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality
