Audiology Externship Opportunity at North Oaks Medical Center

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Audiology Extern. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of audiology and work alongside our experienced audiologists and ENT physicians.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic tests and treatments for patients with hearing and balance disorders.
  • Conduct behavioral, electroacoustic, and electrophysiologic assessments to evaluate hearing and balance function.
  • Provide consultation to educators and other healthcare professionals on communication management and educational implications of hearing loss.
  • Develop and implement hearing conservation and identification programs.
  • Participate in the development of professional and technical standards.
  • Prepare written documentation and reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in an ASHA-accredited Doctor of Audiology program.
  • Working knowledge of proper equipment used for audiology and electrophysiology evaluations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
