This position is vital in maintaining the continuity of care for patients at Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital, a 50-bed facility dedicated to rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and assess all departments to ensure seamless patient care and communicate essential information to management.
2. Address unusual occurrences or complaints promptly and effectively.
3. Ensure nursing staff adheres to best practices in patient care, prioritizing safety and minimizing the risk of medical errors.
4. Monitor and verify the accuracy of documentation, including medical necessity, in patient records.
5. Review risk and quality indicators, patient satisfaction metrics, and outcomes to enhance performance continuously.
6. Facilitate education and training for nursing staff on Quality Indicators (QIs) and ensure timely assessments are conducted.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a rehabilitation or acute care setting, demonstrating leadership capabilities.

Skills:
- Proven ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate, and direct clinical personnel activities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficient in basic computer skills.
