Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Integrated Resources. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality radiation therapy to patients with cancer.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver accurate and precise radiation therapy treatments using proper set-up and calculation parameters.
- Process and film clientgonal/port films prescribed by physicians, obtaining port films in accordance with department portal vision protocols.
- Maintain and update scheduling for new patients and current treatment times, simulations, conedowns, offcord treatments, etc.
- Notify appropriate team members related to changes or questions.
- Simulate patients and design custom blockings, selecting and correctly placing immobilization devices, customized blocks, and optimizing patient comfort.
- Perform calculations using computers to assure accuracy.
- Maintain appropriate charges for radiation therapy.
- Maintain a clean and neat work area, stocking supplies and linen in rooms when needed, disinfecting used equipment frequently, and utilizing downtime as needed.
- Daily Q.A. of treatment machines, simulator, and CT Scanner to obtain expected values and report any deviation to physicists immediately.
- Makes team effort to chart, check, file, stock rooms, check for supplies, and be sensitive to and willing to flex out when needed.
- Identifies and shares with Director/co-workers opportunities for improving patient and guest satisfaction.
- Attends weekly chart rounds and actively participates when appropriate.
- ARRT or CRT certification.
- AHA BLS certification.
