Job Summary

As an Obstetrical Technician at Calvert Health System, you will perform nursing assistant duties and serve as a Scrub role in the Operating Room. This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a high level of skill and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the care of patients in Labor and Delivery, Post Partum, and Newborn Nursery
  • Participate in the Operating Room as a Scrub Technician
  • Provide nursing assistant duties as needed
  • Maintain unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required
Requirements
  • Maryland CNA license required
  • Minimum of one year direct experience in OR scrub role and nursing assistant duties in Labor/Delivery, Post Partum, and Newborn Nursery
  • CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
