Job Description: Therapy Services Director

The Therapy Services Director at Reliant Rehabilitation oversees the daily operations of the rehabilitation department, ensuring that residents receive high-quality care and services that meet their unique needs and goals. This individual works closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans, coordinate care transitions, and promote optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of licensed therapists and therapy assistants to deliver evidence-based interventions and services.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor departmental policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with administrative leaders to develop and implement strategic plans, budgets, and resource allocation decisions that align with organizational goals.
  • Provide education, training, and support to staff members to enhance their knowledge, skills, and competence in delivering high-quality care.
  • Conduct regular assessments of departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address these gaps.
  • Promote a culture of safety, respect, and empathy among team members, fostering open communication and collaboration.
  • Stay current with industry trends, research, and best practices, applying this knowledge to inform departmental decisions and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • A degree in therapy from an accredited school or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Three years of experience as a licensed therapist or in a leadership role within a rehabilitation setting.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams, developing and implementing effective programs, and promoting positive patient outcomes.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A current and active license as a licensed therapist, such as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist.
Salary Range:

This role offers a competitive salary range of $130,000 - $160,000 per year, reflecting the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.
