Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Java applications for a Video Content Metadata Management System.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with CI/CD methodologies.
  • Strong background in Linux-based environments.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Git and Maven.
  • Familiarity with design patterns and problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and produce high-quality results.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in developing scalable applications and microservices on Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud deployment platforms like Google Cloud and AWS.
  • Knowledge of Docker and security configurations.
  • Experience in the IPTV, Content Management, or Video Delivery sectors.
  • Understanding of content recommendation systems and video encoding/transcoding.
Core Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to define product and technical requirements, conducting analyses to identify integration needs. Design and support new software applications while customizing existing ones. Oversee the software update process and assist in software release rollouts.

Mentor junior software engineers and ensure the documentation of technical requirements and evaluation plans is thorough. Stay updated with industry developments and monitor competitive applications.

Provide technical leadership throughout the design process, ensuring adherence to best practices and methodologies. Track performance metrics and ensure timely delivery of software projects within budget.
