Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, including complex imaging procedures, to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Evaluate patients for clinical contrast history and potential contraindications.
  • Adhere to established protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Interact effectively with patients and care providers to coordinate and prioritize procedures.
  • Assist radiologists in invasive and biopsy procedures using CT equipment.
  • Ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked, and maintain infection control standards.
  • Accurately code and enter charges.
  • Adapt patient assessment and treatment methods to meet individual needs.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to CHRISTUS Health's core values.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
  • 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting required.
  • 3 years of CT experience in a clinical imaging setting preferred.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in CT.
  • Current state licensure and BLS certification required.
