Phototherapy Nurse

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dermatology Photomedicine Specialist to join our team at South Florida Skin Center. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing field, providing phototherapy services to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Call and schedule patients for photomedicine treatments as directed by their provider
• Organize and maintain patient schedules for photomedicine treatments
• Track patient progress throughout treatment
• Position patients and apply protective lead shields for radiation treatments
• Operate and maneuver SRT machines for proper patient-contact positioning
• Document treatment numbers and cumulative doses electronically and on paper
• Confirm dosage accuracy before each treatment delivery performed by the provider
• Maintain positive, friendly, and comforting relationships with patients throughout treatment
