Your Role:
As a member of our team, you will collaborate with Booz Allen colleagues, other contractors, and U.S. Space Force personnel to design and implement the next generation of military satellite communications capabilities. You will play a key role in the engineering division, assisting the government as the Lead Systems Integrator to ensure seamless integration of space, ground, and cryptographic segments to fulfill user requirements. Your support to the chief engineer and management of the Booz Allen engineering team will be crucial in advancing the program office's objectives. Your innovative mindset and expertise will be essential in delivering capabilities that address emerging threats.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in systems engineering or integration and testing within DoD space systems.
- 5+ years of experience in Risk Processes and Risk Management.
- 5+ years of experience utilizing a Model-Based Systems Engineering or Digital Engineering approach for managing system definitions and technical baselines.
- Experience in requirements development or verification.
- Familiarity with Confluence or JIRA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, demonstrating initiative in completing complex tasks within cross-functional teams.
- Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with military SATCOM systems.
- 5+ years of experience in space acquisition.
- Experience in Agile methodologies.
- Ability to learn and resolve issues swiftly and creatively.
- TS/SCI clearance.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science.
- INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification (ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP).
- Agile Certification (CSM, CPO, PMI-ACP, or ICP).
Clearance Requirements:
Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
