We are currently in search of a dedicated Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team in Mooresville, NC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Conducting troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and mechanical inspections on all electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Performing repairs and servicing of industrial machinery, with a focus on electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Installing, diagnosing, and repairing various equipment, including CNC machinery, compressed air systems, and electrical distribution systems.
- Identifying issues, disassembling components, sourcing or fabricating parts, and reassembling machinery as required.
- Ensuring proper maintenance and care of all equipment.
- Maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
The following skills are critical for success in this position:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial or machine maintenance.
- Ability to diagnose and repair machinery, including disassembly and reassembly in a professional manner.
- Strong understanding of electronic systems and components.
- Proficiency in operating manual and power tools, as well as electrical measuring instruments.
- Familiarity with machine schematics and control diagrams.
- Capability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Solid knowledge of hydraulic systems and compressed air systems.
- Experience with machine setup and troubleshooting tools, including multimeters and dial indicators.
- Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in challenging positions.
- Understanding of general shop safety practices.
While not mandatory, the following skills would be advantageous:
- Proficiency in general computing, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Systems.
