Role Overview

Saint Luke's Health System (Kansas City) is seeking a BC/BE thoracic medical oncologist to lead its multidisciplinary thoracic oncology program. This position requires expertise in precision oncology, with experience in guiding targeted treatments through tissue and liquid genomics.

About the Position

This leadership role involves assuming responsibility for an existing thoracic oncology program anchored by the Frank and Evangeline Thompson Thoracic Center. The center offers comprehensive care for thoracic malignancies through a team including radiology, interventional pulmonology, radiation oncology, thoracic surgery, palliative care, and a dedicated nurse navigator.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop a robust clinical research program to advance thoracic cancer treatment
  2. Contribute to the development of multidisciplinary care pathways for thoracic malignancies
  3. Pursue academic excellence through teaching residents and fellows
