Wellstar Medical Group is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality patient care in the Neurohospitalist department at Cobb Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care in a hospital setting, working closely with the Neurology team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans in consultation with physicians.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform procedures as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
- Must hold an ACNP or AG-ACNP or Physician Assistant certification.
- 2-3 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in Neurology.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
