Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL Class B Rear Load Garbage Truck Driver to join our team at Interstate Waste Services, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a rear-load garbage truck to collect and transport waste and recyclable materials to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a rear-load garbage truck to collect and transport waste and recyclable materials
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Meet physical and safety requirements of the position
Requirements
  • 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Valid Class A or B CDL
  • Airbrake endorsement
  • 1-year CDL driving experience in the last 7 years
  • Great safety record and clean MVR
  • Experience as a driver or helper for a waste company is highly preferred
What We Offer
  • $26.10/hour overtime pay after 40 hours in a work week
  • Monday through Friday schedule with occasional Saturday hours
  • Early start time
  • Hourly pay rate: $26.10
  • Year-round, steady work
